Questions
Is it really free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it’s free and there’s no sign-up. You get a complete PDF invoice with a small “Made with KaamSolv” line at the bottom.
Is my invoice saved?
Without an account, your draft stays in this browser only — it isn’t uploaded, and a refresh doesn’t lose it. With a free account you can save up to 20 invoices, and your business details and logo are filled in for the next one.
Is this a GST tax invoice?
Yes, when you add your GSTIN and charge GST in rupees: it becomes a “Tax Invoice” with place of supply, CGST + SGST or IGST worked out for you, HSN/SAC and GST rate on each line, a tax summary, the amount in words, reverse charge and a signatory line. On the composition scheme, pick “Bill of Supply”. It checks GSTINs for typos but can’t look them up online, and it doesn’t do e-invoicing (needed only above ₹5 crore turnover). It’s a helpful tool, not tax advice — check anything unusual with your accountant.
Which GST rates are in the list?
0%, 0.25%, 3%, 5%, 18% and 40% — the rates after the GST changes of 22 September 2025, when 12% and 28% were folded into 5% and 18%. Pick “Other…” for anything else.
How are discount and tax worked out?
Subtotal, minus the discount (a percentage or a flat amount), then tax on what’s left. Every step is rounded to two decimals.
How many items can I add?
Up to 10 — that’s what fits on a clean one-page A4 invoice.
Which currencies can I use?
Indian rupee, US dollar, euro, British pound and UAE dirham. You choose — we never guess from your location.
